What is skid driving?

What is the winter driving course?
The winter driving course is something completely different — it takes place after you’ve already received your Estonia driving license.
A category B estonia driving licence is initially issued as a primary licence. The holder of a primary licence must complete the winter driving course within two years in order to replace the primary Estonia driving license with a permanent one.
Unlike slippery driving, the winter driving course is not one-on-one with an instructor. It takes place in a group of up to 12 people on the same skid pad where the slippery driving course was held — the instructor guides the group from outside via radio, not from the passenger seat.
What happens if you don’t complete the winter driving course on time?

● Course completed within 2 years → the primary Estonia driving license category B is replaced with a permanent one. All good.
